Ingredient in Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution

The active ingredient in Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution is undecylenic acid, which is approved by the FDA as an effective treatment for fungal infections.

Outstanding Features

The undecylenic acid in Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution is more concentrated than in most other nail products. While the name implies that Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution treats nail infections, the web site documents that the product does not treat them. The package states “not effective on nails”.

The website provides information about nail health, product use, and nail fungus; which buyers may find helpful.

Safe use of Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution

Potential buyers who are pregnant or nursing are advised to consult with their health care provider before using Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution.

Buyers advised to consult with a health care provider to diagnose their condition if they are not sure that they have a fungal infection.

No advice is provided regarding the use of Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution for children or individuals sensitive to the product.

I am concerned that by using a reusable applicator, the fungal infection could be spread and the solution contaminated with microorganisms.

The website provides clear instructions and stresses the importance of good hygiene in the treatment of fungal infections.

Contraindications

Other than recommending that pregnant or nursing women consult a health care provider prior to using Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution, the manufacturer does not state any contraindications. I recommend that anyone who is allergic or sensitive to any of the product ingredients should not use Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution. I would not use the product on children; or individuals with circulatory or sensory problems without consulting a physician prior to use.

Side Effects

No side effects are listed; however all remedies have the potential to cause irritation or allergic reactions.

Manufacturer Information

The company name is Kramer Consumer Healthcare. They are located in Florida, USA.

Website

The Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution website is http://www.funginail.com . The site contains helpful information about product use and safety. Text and video instructions are provided. It is easy to navigate. Ordering is simple. The product is also available in stores.

The Bottom Line

Undecylenic acid which is contained within Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution may effectively treat some fungus.

I am concerned that customers may be misled by the name of the product. When I saw the product name, I believed that Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution was a product designed to treat nail fungus. The pictures on the product box clearly showed infected nails. It was only when I read the information on the product website that I learned that the product treats tissues surrounding the nail; but not the nail itself.

I recommend that a diagnosis be obtained from a qualified healthcare professional before using Fungi Nail Toe and Foot Antifungal Solution.
